Congratulations to Branch 166 on an excellent article featuring the Branch Web Site. Shipmate President Martin and Shaughnessy are to be commended for Martin's creative ability in the construction and maintenance of perhaps the best site in the FRA, and Dan's detailed article that will be viewed by over 50,000 readers! Thank you!

Thanks for letting me present the project to get a U.S. Navy license plate for Virginia to your chapter members. I also was able to meet Kenny Golden and be interviewed on his show the following day. Although no preorders have yet been received from either event, at least the word is getting out there. Not sure if it's apathy, procrastination, or other reasons, but we're only at 27% of goal for 2018, so the process will continue, despite lack of support. BTW, the lumpia were excellent! Good to see you at the Retiree Summit.

Congratulations to the newly elected and appointed officers of Virginia Beach Branch 166. The membership of this branch is blessed to be associated with the most respected and honorable branch of the East Coast Region. For the past 60+ years your predecessors have distinguished themselves by not resting on past accomplishments, but by diligently looking at future possibilities in service to members and the community. Thank you for continuing the leagacy !
